Judy Malcom,

President

Judy Malcom joined Anduhyaun’s Board of Directors in 2016.

Judy was born in Winnipeg, and raised in Montreal and Toronto. She worked in Aerospace Engineering before retiring in 2018. She's been extremely active in her communities through supporting Big Sisters and as a ski coach for the Special Olympics.

Carolyn Valle, Vice President

Carolyn joined Anduhyaun’s Board in 2019 because she is a firm believer in empowering and building the collective capacity and self-sufficiency of Indigenous women. She is a teacher who infuses Indigenous teachings into all areas of the curriculum, in the hopes of moving toward Truth and Reconciliation across the TDSB. She chose her Intermediate qualification to be in First Nations, Métis and Inuit (FNMI) Studies, in order to learn how to respectfully and authentically look at all elements of the education system through the lens of FNMI viewpoints.

Brittany Town, Secretary

Brittany Town joined Anduhyaun's board in 2024. Born in Winnipeg and raised in Scarborough, she is a proud mixed woman with Mi'kmaq ancestry. She holds a BAH from Queen's University and a JD from Osgoode Hall University. Brittany is a litigation associate at a large Toronto law firm where she assists clients with complex disputes. Brittany previously worked in government where she supported the negotiation and implementation of a self-government agreement between First Nations and Ontario. An advocate for education and human rights, Brittany is eager to bring her previous work experience to the board.
